shada-andpanda: (by jessica beth) Last night I had a dream about my dad’s old typewriter.  I didn’t use it that much as a kid because I always liked writing by hand but whenever I wanted it he got it down from the top shelf of the closet where it lives, next to our telephone.  Whatever happened to typewriters?  I think it’s more satisfying to see the pages you’ve typed and I love that old typewriter smell.  My grandma still writes letters on her typewriter.  I think they should make a comeback.  This will be my desk someday.  —Maggie
